Background

Winter Prosapio, previous to becoming a full time mother and author, was an expert in media relations and both internal and external communications, with over 18 years experience in Fortune 500 companies, city government and not-for-profit settings. She opened a theme park, handled all communications for a 2 billion dollar oil and gas merger and led a grass roots tort reform movement.

Winter has served on the boards of several different non-profits including JumpStart Theater in San Antonio, Canyon Lake Animal Shelter Society and Texas Hearing and Service Dogs.  She has also served on eight different review panels for the National Endowment for the Arts reviewing literature grants throughout the country.

Winter and her husband, Adam, are proud parents of Sierra and Mireya, inspirations for Crib Notes.

Perhaps the job that best prepared Winter for motherhood was her stint at the  planetarium in El Paso during college.  There she excelled in the daily competition to create dizzying laser light star shows which would drive even the strongest constitutions into the rest rooms.

Crib Notes is Winter's syndicated column and appears regularly in Mommies Magazine and LaughFish.net as well as the New Braunfels Herald
