Montessori Country Day School (MCDS) was founded in 1997. Our goal is to provide quality early childhood education utilizing the Montessori method in the most nurturing environment available. In 2004 we moved into our newly constructed building in Gruene (within New Braunfels) designed specifically to meet the unique needs of a Montessori school. 

Our one-acre campus in located within walking distance of the beautiful Guadalupe River. Our children enjoy beautiful natural surroundings with an abundance of wildlife and opportunities for outdoor experiences and exploration.

Montessori Country Day School offers programs for Toddlers, Preschool and Kindergarten aged children. MCDS is licensed by the American Montessori International Teachers of Texas (AMITOT) and by the Texas Department of Protective and Family Services. All of our teachers have received diplomas or special training with the Association Montessori International (AMI).
